CILICIA. Flaviopolis-Flavias. Antoninus Pius, 138-161. Diassarion (Bronze, 27 mm, 10.87 g, 12 h), CY 80 = 152/3. ΑYΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΙ ΑΙΛ ΑΔΡ ΑΝΤωΝЄΙΝΟС СЄΒ Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius to right. Rev. ΦΛΑΟVΙΟΠΟΛЄΙΤΩΝ ЄΤΟ Π Laureate and bearded male head (of Zeus or Kronos?) to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. RPC IV online 9910. SNG Levante 1538. SNG Paris 2178-2179. Ziegler 1240. Rare. An attractive issue with a lovely green patina and a bold head of Zeus or Kronos on the reverse. Minor corrosion on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
